Isaiah Canaan, the No. 10 pick in the 2018 NBA draft, has signed with the Houston Rockets, the agent for the player announced.
Canaan, a 6-foot-10 forward, is the No .10 overall pick in this year’s draft, and he is expected to be the No 1 pick.
Canaan is expected in Houston on Tuesday, where he is being evaluated by Rockets head coach Kevin McHale and the team’s strength and conditioning coach.
Canaan has appeared in 13 games for the Rockets this season.
The signing of Canaan, who is eligible to sign with any NBA team on Friday, was first reported by The Vertical.
The Rockets will hold a lottery in the coming days to determine their future plans.
